My Philosophy

"To photograph is to not press a button; it is to capture a moment in time."
I define a moment in time as either an event and/or feeling of emotion.  A photograph should take people back to that moment in time by either allowing a person to feel the emotion felt by the photographer, bringing up a memory or telling a story of an event.  A photographer may have experienced a different emotion at the time of taking the photo as to what the viewer may feel however not everybody will connect to a photograph.
Some images may not require much processing or post processing, others may require more processing or post processing to ensure that the event or emotion is captured to how the photographer intended.  To have this flexibility is where the skill of a photographer exists.
To achieve this my technical focus is tone (degrees in how much light is captured and portrayed) - composition is a natural element.
